Privacy
Simple: Everything stays on your Mac.
No data collection
Summon runs entirely on your Mac. No telemetry, no analytics, no tracking. We don't collect usage data, crash reports, or any information about how you use the app.
No servers
There are no Summon servers. Your clipboard history, snippets, settings, and search index never leave your device. No cloud sync, no backups to our infrastructure, no network requests to our systems.
No accounts
You don't need to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. Download, install, use. That's it.
Local storage only
All data is stored in your Mac's local file system using standard macOS APIs. Your clipboard history, text snippets, and app preferences are stored in your user library folder, readable only by you and apps you've granted permission to.
Open source
The code is available on GitHub. You can verify exactly what Summon does—and doesn't do—with your data.
